Hi, I’m Alana
Alana works as a freelance Line Producer for production companies and agencies, primarily in video production, with occasional still photo shoots as well. She began her career in the machine room at Video Arts, a post-production and finishing house in San Francisco, before moving to New York, where she gained hands-on production management experience in television - working on food, fashion, and adventure shows.
Back in California, Alana has produced (and at times directed) work across commercial, branded, digital, narrative, and documentary formats. She values the unexpected people and places she’s encountered through production, and is passionate about storytelling and making the creative process both efficient and fun.
Alana holds a BA in Race & Ethnicity in American Culture from the University of Michigan and has a strong interest in oral history.
