Hi, I’m Alana
Alana freelances as a Line Producer for production companies and agencies, primarily in video production. She occasionally produces still photo shoots too. Alana has been in production since her first full time job in the machine room at Video Arts, a post production and finishing house in San Francisco. After a couple of years at Video Arts, she gained hands on production management experience in New York, working primarily in [reality] television, including food, fashion and adventure shows. Eventually making her way back to California, she has produced and at times directed commercial, branded, digital, narrative and documentary formats. Alana enjoys the unlikely people and places she has been lucky enough to encounter through work. She is passionate about [visual] storytelling and having fun during the creative process. She has a BA in Race & Ethnicity in American Culture from the University of Michigan and a passion for oral history.
At the bottom of the page are a few of my handdrawn/painted rotoscope animations, found family footage edit and arty things I’ve made.
